Nova Jiménez, soprano, holds a Bachelor of Music from University of the Pacific Conservatory of Music and a Master of Music from New England Conservatory of Music. Nova has performed with The Congregational Oratorio Society of Palo Alto, Cantabile Youth Chorus, The Redwood Symphony, San Jose Symphonic Choir, Stanford Symphonic Chorus, Stanford University Singers, ArtsPower National Touring Company, Berkeley Repertory Theatre, Marin Theatre Company, West Bay Opera, Mission City Opera, Capitol Opera Sacramento, Jarvis Zarzuela Conservatory and the Daniel Ferro Vocal Program (Greve in Chianti, Italy). As a soloist, Nova has won several awards including, National Association of Teachers of Singing, Sacramento Symphony and Stockton Symphony Young Artist Award. She is member of Actors Equity Association (AEA). Nova has sung the National Anthem for both the San Jose Sharks and for the San Francisco Giants. Nova is a founding member of Bella Sorella, a Bay Area soprano ensemble that has produced three CD’s, toured and performed throughout the United States and Japan. Nova’s passion for music extends into her teaching. Her teaching experience includes a lectureship at the University of California, San Diego and she is currently a lecturer in voice at Stanford University.
