Versatile Virtuosa
Nova is a versatile virtuosa that effortlessly shifts between classical and contemporary genres. Nova takes you across the globe and through time, reflecting her unwavering passion for the art of song. As a soloist, Nova has performed with the Palo Alto Community Gospel Choir, The Congregational Oratorio Society of Palo Alto, Cantabile Youth Chorus, The Redwood Symphony, San José Symphonic Choir, and Stanford University Singers. Nova is a member of the Actors Equity Association (AEA) and as a singing actor, Nova has performed with ArtsPower National Touring Company, Berkeley Repertory Theatre, Marin Theatre Company. Nova is a founding member of Bella Sorella, a Bay Area sister-soprano ensemble that has produced, toured, and performed throughout the United States and Japan. In May 2020, Nova started a Sidewalk Serenade Project, hoping to bring live music in intimate and safe mini-concerts to people most affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Since then, Nova has sung over one hundred volunteer serenades and continues today! Nova holds a Bachelor of Music from the University of the Pacific Conservatory of Music and a Master of Music in Vocal Performance from New England Conservatory. Nova shares her expertise as a lecturer in voice at Stanford University, inspiring the next generation of vocal talents. Her dedication to education and artistic pursuits creates a rich, fulfilling life in song.
